Is Kultra for you?

A match made in heaven if:

  • You get bloating, gas or digestive discomfort from standard cow whey
  • You are managing PCOS, insulin resistance or hormonal imbalance and want to keep inflammatory load down
  • You have IBS or a sensitive gut and need protein that works with your digestion, not against it
  • You train and want clean, amino-acid-rich protein without artificial additives
  • You read labels and want to know exactly what is going into your body

The science: why it digests cleanly

The A2 difference. Conventional cow whey contains A1 beta-casein. During digestion, A1 releases a peptide called BCM-7 that slows gut motility and triggers inflammatory responses in sensitive people. That is the reason so many feel bloated or heavy after a standard shake. Goat whey contains only A2 beta-casein, which digests cleanly without producing BCM-7. For most people who react to cow whey, that single structural difference is enough.

Prebiotic support, built in. Goat milk naturally contains prebiotic oligosaccharides, compounds that resist digestion and reach the colon intact, where they feed beneficial gut bacteria. A 2020 review found goat milk contains up to 350mg/L of these, several times the level in cow milk. Every serving delivers complete protein and supports your microbiome at the same time.

Nutrition, amino acids & ingredients

Per 33g serving:

  • 26g complete protein
  • All nine essential amino acids
  • 5.5g BCAAs, including 2.4g leucine, the primary trigger for muscle protein synthesis
  • 94% true ileal amino acid digestibility, comparable to the highest-quality protein sources studied

Ingredients: goat whey protein concentrate, natural vanilla bean, stevia leaf.

No artificial sweeteners, no xanthan gum, no soy, no thickeners, fillers or flavour enhancers.

How to use

Add one 33g scoop to 250ml of water, milk or a smoothie. Shake or blend until smooth. Best within 30 minutes of training for recovery, or any time of day to hit your protein target. Works well in overnight oats, yoghurt and baking. One bag is 30 servings.

Sourcing & Craft

Goat whey is hard to make. That’s exactly why we make it.

Most protein brands use cow whey because it is cheap, abundant and easy to process. We went the other way, and it took 6 months to get a goat whey worth drinking every day.

  1. A young goat grazing on a grass-fed farm in the European hills

    01 The milk

We start where almost nobody wants to

A goat gives a fraction of the milk a cow does, and the herds worth sourcing from are small. We work with family-owned farms in Europe on short supply chains, so the whey reaches us fresh rather than after months sitting in storage.

  2. Kultra goat whey powder being spooned into a glass of milk

    02 The process

Low and slow, because the good part is fragile

Goat whey has real advantages: naturally A2 protein, smaller fat globules, prebiotic oligosaccharides. None of them survive high heat, so ours is processed low and slow to keep the protein fractions and bioactive compounds intact.

  3. A split vanilla bean with a vanilla flower resting on it

    03 The taste

Six months to make goat dairy taste like this

Goat dairy has a reputation. We spent months on the Vanilla Bean formulation until it tasted like a premium cow whey: smooth, clean, not gamey, not chalky. Nothing but real vanilla and stevia leaf to get there.

  4. A bag of Kultra Goat Whey A2 Protein beside a filled scoop

    04 The standard

    The line we won’t cross

No thickeners. No xanthan gum. No artificial sweeteners. No “natural flavours” hiding a list of their own. Three ingredients, because you are going to drink this every day for years, and you should be able to read the label in full.

Made the hard way, so it is easy on you every single morning.

How does goat whey compare to cow whey for performance?

Goat whey delivers the same complete amino acid profile and high protein content as cow whey. The key advantages are faster absorption (smaller fat globules), naturally A2 protein (easier to digest), and built-in prebiotic compounds. You get equivalent performance without the digestive trade-offs.

Why choose goat whey over plant protein?

Goat whey delivers a complete amino acid profile with all 9 essentials in the ratios your body needs, something most single-source plant proteins can't match without blending. It's also naturally easier to digest than many plant proteins, which can carry fibre and anti-nutrients that cause bloating. And with 26g of protein per serving, goat whey packs more per scoop than most plant-based options, without the chalky texture or gritty aftertaste.

I I was honestly pretty skeptical about trying goat milk protein powder, but Kultra completely changed my mind. You genuinely can’t tell that it’s made from goat milk, and I was really impressed by how good it tastes and how my body feels after using it.
One of the biggest differences I noticed is that I don’t get the same bloated feeling I’ve experienced with traditional protein powders that can be loaded with additives and cow dairy. It feels much lighter and easier on my body while still being an easy way to get extra protein into my day.

I love mixing this in with my morning coffee since it lets me start the day off with some protein. The vanilla flavour makes for a nice drink and combines well with a coffee!

My new go to protein powder!

Tastes just like (if not better than) any high quality cow whey — minus the bloating, acne, and inflammation. Super versatile product that mixes well, it’s a great addition to my coffee, baked treats, as well as the usual protein shakes and yogurt bowls. Would recommend to anyone who likes knowing exactly what’s in their food or has underlying health issues.

This is a very good-quality protein powder with clean ingredients. The taste is nice if you like something sweet, but personally, I was hoping they would offer an unflavoured version. Otherwise, I probably wouldn’t buy it again.

I’ve tried goat milk in the past and didn’t love the taste but this protein tastes like any other high quality cow whey so I was pleasantly surprised. I noticed that this didn’t cause any indigestion issues which I usually experience with other proteins. Really excited to make this a staple in my routine!
